    This is an interesting one Emm..... the tree is still beautiful despite its old wounds...... it makes me think of a soldier who has lost limbs in battle, yet is still a beautiful person.

    Yes - I was thinking of emotional wounds too. I think these 'blemishes' make the tree even more beautiful. Thank you for your interest in my stones. :)

    We don't always see the marks of healing, nor the beauty of these as they tell the stoiry of the passage of life. Nice.
